Sauvage Extrait is the densest Sauvage yet, opening with lavender, bergamot and ambroxan before a dark Vietnamese oud takes the center and settles onto cedar, vetiver and smoky patchouli. It suits the man who already loves the Sauvage signature and wants a richer, slower, more animalic version of it for evenings and occasions where a big presence is welcome. This is a cold-weather scent, at home in fall and winter nights rather than summer afternoons.
