Centaurus is a spicy amber that leads with tobacco, cinnamon, cardamom and pink pepper before a smooth heart of sandalwood, heliotrope, geranium and patchouli gives way to benzoin, tolu balsam, tonka and Bourbon vanilla. Creed sells it as universal and it reads as a polished, grown-up sweet tobacco that men and women can both carry. It is at its best on cold nights and dressed-up occasions in fall and winter, and too heavy for hot days.
